"Boy's nights" are something that Jonathan thinks are the ultimate reward. He loves to have time with just his Dad (or with the boys when Lenny and Carter get to go too). He thinks it is so special (and it is!). Bruce is such a great Dad to spend one on one time with the kids.
Home Depot has a neat program where you can sign up to build something on the first Saturday of the month. (You will notice that Bruce was a really good sport to bring the camera and take pictures for me.) The kids get their own apron and a pin when the project is complete. Jonny was so excited that instead of a "boys night" they were going to have a "boys day." I love to see him this excited and the project this month was the perfect project for Jonny--a car display. He couldn't wait to get home and find all his favorite cars to display. Here is what Jonny said about the day in his own words:
"My Dad and me needed a hammer and some nails and we got to use some stickers and we had a good time. It was a really fun boys day!"
