Birthday Boy has the Ultimate Day

"I'm 5! I'm 5! I'm 5!" Jonathan was so very excited for his birthday! That was all he could think about for a month. I hope he had a great birthday. I am pretty sure he did. He woke up with a BIG smile and went to bed with a BIG smile and by saying with a sigh "I love having a birthday!" He was all smiles for several days. Thursday we took him to Toys R Us to pick out a GeoTrax train. They spoiled him with a balloon and a birthday crown and an announcement over the loud speaker. He thought that was the greatest. Friday Lenny came by and loaded Jonny and his bike into his car and took Jonny to get his bike all fixed up complete with new training wheels, handle bars and a bell, then that night he had his cousins, Zach and Miles, sleep over. We went to Chick-fil-a for dinner and to play on the playground. Saturday--the ultimate day--we took the Frontrunner to Ogden (Jonny's most favorite thing to do). Jonny was so happy that Zach, Miles, Carter, Dad, Autumn, and Mom all got to go too. In Ogden we ate lunch and played at Zach and Miles. We rode Frontrunner home. Jonathan then got to play at Carter's for an hour. Then that night he and his dad went to a U of U basketball game for a "boy's night". I think it was his ultimate day. On Sunday, his actual birthday, we went to church and Jonathan couldn't have smiled bigger when they sang "Happy Birthday" to him in primary. That night we stayed home and let Jonathan decorate his "Transformer" cake with Luke and Megan (pretty fancy, eh?) and we had family and friends come by to visit. It was a lot of partying and so much fun. Jonathan was so thankful for all his presents and was just fun to be around. Happy Birthday Jonny!

Jonathan's birthday presents included a floor puzzle, a board game, trickster car, and GeoTrax train from Mom and Dad, a semi truck trailer from Carter, an awesome scooter you power with your arms from Grandma and Grandpa Thorup, a very special painting that Grandma Great painted just for Jonny, a fun book from Grandpa and Grandma LeBaron, his bike fixed up with new training wheels, handle bars and a bell from Lenny, a Batman from Noelle, Sophia and Jack, and a Yahtzee game that he can't play enough from Luke and Megan. He was one spoiled boy but so grateful and cute about everything he got.
