Jonny's First Day of School

Jonny started kindergarten! I didn't become the "blubbering dropping your baby off at school mom" because I was so excited for him and all the fun I knew he would have. He was ready to go. He picked out his monster truck shirt and camo pants and put on his Transformers backpack and did great! He didn't even cry (like he did every day of preschool) when it was time to go in. I was worried about that. He was really nervous though and had an upset tummy right before it was time to walk over. But in the end he was so brave and went in with a smile. When we asked what his favorite part of the day was he told us "drinking from the water fountain" and "recess". I love his teacher, Mrs. Foote. She is amazing and seems to be on top of things. Jonny is in the Spanish immersion program. Mrs. Foote has a magic necklace she puts on that makes her speak only Spanish. The cutest part of the day is when he called his Dad to tell him about his first day he ended it by saying "well I am going to go now Dad and I am going to tell you something you probably won't understand....Adios!"

Autumn really missed her brother and has to get used to Jonny being at school.
