Jonny is a super brother. His sisters are so lucky to have him as their big brother. He has a very tender, protective side. I have told him that the thing that makes me the happiest is when I see him being good to his sisters. He is a great big brother! Just today we went to a play land and I was so happy watching Jonny and Autumn play together. Autumn is too small to climb up the big stairs in the play land by herself. So Jonny would get in the tube/stairs first and climb up one stair and then turn around and literally pull Autumn up with both her arms to the next stair, then wait for her on the next stair and do it again. He did this over and over for her so she could get to the top and slide down. He was so patient and protective of her. Truly that made me so happy. Also today Autumn came upstairs crying because Carter, Natalie and Jonny were going to watch a movie downstairs and she felt left out. So I called for Jonny to come upstairs and get her. He came up and took her by the hand and walked her downstairs, all the while telling her in a sweet voice that she could watch the movie with them. What a great big brother! I love it.
He is just completely amazing with Brookley. He couldn't adore her more than he does. I can't believe how much is dotes on her and how long he will hold her. He will do anything to make Brookley happy and never wants her to be left in a room by herself because he is worried she will feel left out. He talks so cute to her and is smitten by every new thing she does (which so far isn't much in her 2 1/2 months of life). But to him every sound she makes he asks if that was her first word. And he puts his ear by Brookley so she can tell him some "secrets" and then he interrupts for me what she says which is usually that she is hungry. The other day I said that I love him the most and he said something along the lines of loving me too but loving Brookely the "mostest".
